Thursday, June 9th, marked a turning point for the ability of 2nd Chance Kids (www.2ndchancekids.org) to touch the lives of youth in need of a second chance. For the past few months President of 2CK and Co- Founder, John Lops, and Vice President and Co-Founder, Jimmy McDougald, have been putting their heart and soul into fulfilling the mission of their non-profit organization. 2nd Chance Kids is a non-profit organization based in Colton that strives to provide medical aid and life enrichment to children who may not have had the medical opportunities offered to other young people. Judith Lopez, the Human Resources/Accounting Manager at PulmoCare, a collaborator of 2CK, recently spoke with Mario Rea, the National Sales Manager for Westprime Healthcare based out of Brea, CA. After informing Rea of the great things going on through 2CK, he and his companyagreed to donate 539 Ultra-Sonic Nebulizers, which were surplus left from a previous order. With one pallet full of nebulizers for children and two pallets of nebulizers for adults, 2CK looks forward to the great things to come as a result of this generous donation and is considering options such as donating them to other organizations, distributing them to children in need, and looking in homeless shelters for those who may benefit from the machines. If you would like more information on 2nd Chance Kids please call VP McDougald at (951) 965-3272.
